We like to think we are pretty open minded when it comes to what you shoot. So as long as our club coach deems your bow to be safe, you can pretty much shoot what you like with the exception of crossbows. We are sorry to all you crossbow people out there, but our shooting ground just isn't suited and being brutally honest we don't have the relevant experience in terms of safety.
Recurve
Shot extensively in the club at both senior and junior level. As a club we have over 25 recurve bows suited for individuals from age 8 upwards, so beginners don't need to worry about equipment.
Compound
The club has a number of compound archers at both junior and senior level and given that most of our targets are Danage foam they tend to be kind to their arrows. The club don't own any compound bows but our compound archers are always keen for others to get involved.
Barebow
A small group have started to introduce barebows into the club and these are proving to be a lot of fun. We have the benefit of having a small bow manufacturing company on site at our outdoor shooting ground, so bow development is often a hot topic of conversation.
